A 1-person infrared sauna is the smallest real sauna we sell — and for a lot of people it is the only one that fits the space and the budget. It plugs into a standard household outlet, warms up in about ten minutes, and occupies roughly the floor area of an armchair.

Because there is no water, no drain and no 240V circuit, installation is genuinely a matter of assembling the panels and plugging it in. This is why they end up in apartments, spare bedrooms and home offices.

What you are choosing between

Carbon panels — even, lower-temperature heat across a wide surface, and lower EMF. The better option for a small cabin where you sit close to everything.

Ceramic rods — hotter in a narrow band. Cheaper, and noticeably less even in a space this size.

Full spectrum — adds near and mid infrared. Worth the premium if recovery is the reason you are buying.

Practical checks

  • Outlet — standard 120V, but give it a dedicated 15- or 20-amp circuit rather than sharing with a space heater.
  • Height — most run around 6ft. Fine in a bedroom, tight under low basement joists.
  • Wood — Canadian hemlock is almost odorless, which matters more in a small cabin than a large one.
  • Reassembly — these come apart cleanly, so they move house with you.

Common questions

Is one person genuinely comfortable?

Seated, yes, with room to move your arms. To lie down you need 2-person at minimum.

Can I put it on carpet?

Yes. The cabin floor is enclosed and the exterior stays close to room temperature.

How often can I use it?

Daily is fine for most people. Infrared is gentle enough that a 30-minute session does not leave you flattened the way a long traditional session can.
