3-Person Saunas

Three people is where a sauna stops being a personal appliance and becomes something the household uses together. It is also the most flexible size we sell — wide enough for two to lie down, small enough that heat-up time and running costs stay reasonable.

At this capacity you have a real choice of heat type, which you do not always get at the smallest sizes.

Three routes, three different experiences

Infrared — 120–150°F, ready in fifteen minutes, most models on a standard outlet. The easy install and the gentle heat make this the default choice for indoor spaces.

Traditional — stones, steam and 180°F+. Needs 240V and ventilation, takes 30–45 minutes to heat, and delivers something infrared cannot imitate.

Hybrid — both systems in one cabin. More money, but it settles the argument permanently.

Sizing honestly

  • Bench depth decides whether three people sit or two people recline. Check the interior dimension, not the exterior.
  • Two tiers give you a genuine temperature choice — the upper bench can run 20°F hotter.
  • Door and glass — a glass front makes a 3-person cabin feel considerably less enclosed.

Common questions

Infrared or traditional for a first sauna?

If it is going indoors and you want to use it on weeknights, infrared. If you have outdoor space and want the full ritual, traditional. Tell us your room and we will narrow it to two or three.

Does three-person mean three adults?

Seated, yes. Most 3-person cabins comfortably fit two adults with space to spread out, which is how they usually get used.

Indoor or outdoor?

Both exist at this size. Outdoor cabins cost more because they are built to survive weather; indoor kits are simpler but need ventilation planning.
