Collection: 4-Person Infrared Saunas

4-Person Infrared Saunas

A 4-person infrared sauna gives you room for the family without the electrical work and warm-up time of a traditional cabin. Most run at 120–150°F using carbon or ceramic emitters that warm your body directly, so you sweat properly while the air stays easy to breathe.

At this size you also get real bench space — two people can lie down, or four can sit without knocking knees.

What separates the good ones

  • Low-EMF carbon panels spread heat evenly at lower surface temperatures. Ceramic rods run hotter in a narrow band and feel less even in a large cabin.
  • Panel placement matters more at four-person size — look for back, side, floor and calf coverage, not just a back wall.
  • Power — many 4-person units still run on 120V, but some full-spectrum models need 240V. Confirm before delivery.
  • Wood — Canadian hemlock is the standard and nearly odorless; cedar costs more and smells like a sauna.

Our 4-person infrared range runs about $3,300 to $9,900 from Dynamic Saunas, Golden Designs, Finnmark and Costway.

Common questions

Does it need its own circuit?

Yes — a dedicated 15- or 20-amp circuit even on 120V models. Sharing with other appliances trips breakers.

How long to heat up?

15–20 minutes at this size, against 30–45 for a traditional cabin.

Can four adults actually use it at once?

Seated, yes. Infrared works best when panels face you, so four people facing outward all get good exposure.
