6-Person Hybrid Saunas

A 6-person hybrid sauna carries both an infrared system and a traditional stone heater in one large cabin, so the same room serves a gentle solo session and a full family steam. At this capacity the flexibility earns its keep, because six-person households rarely agree on heat.

The two modes

Infrared — 120–140°F, ready in fifteen to twenty minutes, mild enough for daily use.

Traditional — 175°F+ with stones and löyly, taking 45–60 minutes to bring a room this size up to temperature.

Installation notes

  • Two electrical loads — an 8–9kW stone heater on its own 240V circuit, plus a separate supply for the panels. Have an electrician read the spec sheet before delivery.
  • Ventilation — required, since you are producing steam some of the time.
  • Bench and panel layout — infrared needs to face you, so bench geometry is a design decision rather than an afterthought.

Common questions

Worth it over a single-mode sauna?

If the household is split, yes. If everyone wants the same thing, buy that properly and spend the difference on the cabin.

Can I run both at once?
