Collection: 6-Person Infrared Saunas

6-Person Infrared Saunas

A 6-person infrared sauna gives you gathering-room capacity without the ventilation work, 240V heater and long warm-up that a traditional cabin of this size demands. Carbon panels bring the room to 120–150°F in about twenty minutes and warm your body directly.

This is the practical choice for families who want everyone in the sauna at once but do not want to turn the basement into a construction project.

What matters at this size

  • Panel coverage — a large cabin needs panels on back, sides, floor and calves. Back-wall-only layouts leave cold spots at six-person volume.
  • Low-EMF carbon — more even heat across a big surface than ceramic rods, and lower emissions where you sit close.
  • Power — check the spec. Some 6-person units need 240V even though smaller infrared cabins do not.
  • Bench layout — infrared works best when panels face you, so an L-shaped or facing bench arrangement beats a single long bench.

Our 6-person infrared cabins run about $6,500 to $7,500 from Golden Designs and Dynamic Saunas.

Common questions

How does it compare to traditional at this size?

Far easier to install and quicker to use, but you do not get steam or the enveloping heat of stones. If the ritual matters, look at 6-person traditional instead.

How long to warm up?

About 20 minutes — roughly a third of what a traditional cabin this size takes.

Will six people all feel the heat evenly?

Only with proper panel coverage. This is the spec to scrutinise at six-person; it is where cheap cabins cut corners.
