Harvia has been building sauna heaters in Muurame, Finland since 1950, and is the largest sauna equipment manufacturer in the world. If you want a heater designed where sauna is a daily habit rather than a spa treatment, this is the brand. We are an authorized Harvia dealer, so everything here carries the full factory warranty.

The ranges

Electric wall-mounted — the KIP, Vega and Cilindro families cover most home saunas from 3kW to 10.5kW. Wall mounting saves floor space and suits small to mid-size rooms.

Floor-standing and pillar — Cilindro and Legend models hold far more stones, which means a softer, longer-lasting steam when you pour.

Wood-burning — the M-series, Legend and Pro ranges need no electrical supply at all. The answer for cabins, lake lots and anywhere off-grid.

Controls — Xenio and Griffin digital controls, several with WiFi, so the room is hot when you arrive rather than when you remember.

Sizing your heater

The rule of thumb is roughly 1kW per 45–50 cubic feet of room volume, with more allowed for uninsulated log walls or glass doors. Undersizing is the most common and most expensive mistake — a heater that never quite gets there cannot be fixed with patience.

Common questions

Electric or wood-burning?

Electric if the site has power and you want timer convenience. Wood if there is no service, or if tending the fire is part of why you want a sauna.

How many stones do I need?

Each heater specifies a capacity, typically 20–100kg. More stones means softer, longer steam. Use the correct heater stones — ordinary rocks can crack or explode.

Does buying here affect the warranty?

No. Authorized dealer purchases carry the full Harvia warranty and we handle claims directly with the manufacturer.
